The VIP showcases will produce:
- high quality networking,
- access to Focus on Business VIPs,
- access to key government decision makers,
- an opportunity to meet international visitors and business delegations;
- networking with local businesses in the same sectors.

The VIP showcases will be held at Hyatt Hotel Canberra to coincide with key conference-based
activities of Focus on Businesses. There will be four showcases held as follows:
- Defence Industry Showcase : Wednesday 13 September 4.30-6.00pm
- Information Communication Technology Showcase : Thursday 14 September
7.30am-9.00am
- Research Showcase : Thursday 14 September 5.30-7.00pm
- Farmers Market Showcase : Thursday 14 September 10.00am - 7.00pm
